Welcome to Teereny Logistics’ Agreement of service and thank you for choosing Teereny Global. We are excited to have you on board.

We have listed important legal terms that apply to anyone who uses our services. By using any of our services or accessing any content or material made available by Teereny Global through its website or services, you are entering into a binding contract with the Teereny Global entity. You acknowledge that you agree to the terms of services, accept these terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree with the terms, you may not use the Teereny Global services.

Please read the agreement of service carefully.

LOGISTICS SERVICE AGREEMENT
 

  • You agree that Teereny Global reserves the right to refuse your service if Teereny Global believes even without evidence that your goods pose any form of danger to its staff or the environment.

 

  • A coloured copy of a valid identification material (preferably driver’s license or international passport), matching the name and address of the sender may be required before our service is rendered.

 

  • The issued invoice/quote shall be paid in full before or on the due date. Teereny Global reserves the right to change prices without notice.

 

  • Any quote issued shall be an estimate quote until the actual weight (kg) is confirmed. If the quoted cargo weight (kg) is less than the actual weight (kg), the excess weight charge shall be applied and paid for before your service can be processed.
     

  • All monies shall be made in Australian currency (AUD) or Nigerian currency (Naira).
     

  • You agree to pay a non-refundable and unavoidable surcharge fee that applies for all Visa and MasterCard when used for payments. The surcharge fees will be displayed on your quote or invoice when you request our service.

  • To use our service, you shall ensure that your goods meet the entry requirement into Australia as Teereny Global will not be liable for any confiscation, charges, and legal implications because of your importation; or be responsible for any disposed or ceased items. You shall be responsible for any fees, charges, or any other financial implication because of your disposed or ceased items. 

  • You declare that the invoice value (inclusive of all taxes) of the goods handed over to Teereny Global for cargo does not exceed AUD1000.00 (One Thousand Australian Dollars Only) and you indemnify Teereny Global against all legal liability and financial consequences of any loss or damage that may arise while service is being carried out.

  • If required, you must provide all necessary and requested paperwork to aid a smooth service.

 

  • You must ensure that all information provided is true and correct.

  • You agree that any information or advice that we give is only a guide and should not be construed as a legal or formal representation from the Customs Department or the Department of Agriculture. 

 

 

IMPORTATION

 

 

  • We shall not accept the following under any circumstance; Fresh fruit and vegetables, live plants and bulbs, prohibited and restricted seeds, unidentified seeds (including spices), live animals (including pets) that require an import permit, biological products including some plant-based, herbal medications, unprocessed goods of plant or animal origin, soiled goods, or goods containing organic residues. Goods knowingly infested with pests or disease, and all prohibited goods into Australia. If in doubt, contact the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources. Teereny Global will not liable for any confiscation or charges and any legal implications as a result of your importation.

  • You must ensure that your consignment gets to our office a day before the forwarding day. It is your responsibility to ensure enough time for the arrangement of your consignment to be picked up or delivered to our office. Goods that are not in our possession a day before the forwarding dates shall not be catered for with the batch.

  • You must ensure that your goods are well packed and protected. Our preferred package is a heavy duty sack bag (Ghana Must Go). If your goods are fragile, delicate or contain any fragile or delicate item(s), you must make all necessary effort to protect such items. Teereny Global will not be responsible for any damaged item whatsoever.

 

  • If there are valuables in your consignment, it must be your responsibility to notify our staff to confirm the inclusion and the quantity of such item. Teereny Global will not be responsible for any lost item whatsoever that is said to have been packed inclusive in your consignment.

 

  • It is your responsibility to take inventory of your goods and confirm the quantities therein with our staff. You must provide a packing list if necessary, Teereny Global will not be responsible for any lost item whatsoever that is said to have been packed inclusive either as a whole or as a unit without the confirmation of inventory.

 

  • You must deliver your goods to our office between the hours of 9.00 am to 5.00 pm or request a pick-up. When you request a pickup, you agree to pay a charge of $30.00 (AUD).

 

  • You must abide by our consignment drop off days. Any drop before or after these days shall incur a storage charge of $10.00(AUD) per day. 

 

  • You must declare the value of your goods if the goods are worth or over $1,000.00 (AUD). If your goods are valued at $1,000.00 or above, a customs duty and tax fee up to 15% of the customs value shall be applicable.

  • Please be aware that the documentation charges on the quote are for a service from our office in Lagos to our Depot in your state, home delivery service is at an additional cost. However, sending to each state depends on the total kg achievable for each batch. If the achievable kg for a state is less than the required kg, the cargo/consignments will be sent to the receiver’s home address via Perth, and you consent to this.

  • You shall pay the necessary air freight charges and any pending charges when the weight is confirmed at our office before we can proceed with the service. Please note that the terminal fee quoted is for a minimum weight of 20kg, an additional $0.60 applies to the kgs above 20.

  • It is your responsibility to arrange the delivery yourself to your home address in your state or we can help source for courier service of your choice, to deliver at a separate charge. You agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the third party. However, if we are sending via Perth, we will assist with the courier charges with up to a $30 discount, if the total charge is more than that, you agree to pay the difference.

 

  • You agree that the standard airfreight (en route without delay from Lagos, Nigeria to Australia is about three (7) working days; three days after the forwarding day. The estimated delivery or pick-up time shall be between the 8th and the 9th working days. However, if situations arise that are beyond our control; like flight delays, quarantine inspection, duration of customs clearance etc. In such cases, we deliver or notify you as soon as we clear the goods. You shall only make inquiries about your goods after the 9th working day from the forwarding days.

  • You must ensure that the delivery address is correct. Teereny Global will not be responsible for any consignment sent to the wrong address due to your incorrect address.

  • You shall ensure that a package/luggage does not exceed/weigh more than 30kg if home delivery is required.

  • If we are sending to your home address via Perth, a transit time further applies to your state (depending on the courier service transit days), you agree with this timing and agree to consider the timing before making inquiries.

 


FOOD ITEMS

  • You must not import foods that are prohibited in Australia.

  • If food items will be included in your consignment, we strongly recommend that you check the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources website or other related websites for specific items you can and cannot bring in, as these items are revised and updated regularly. Teereny Global will not be liable for any confiscated, charges and legal implications as a result of your importation. 

  • You agree that any information or advice that we give is only a guide and should not be construed as a legal or formal representation from the Department of Agriculture. Please be informed that in most cases,  the inspection officer determines what food item that is and what food item is not allowed into the country.

 

  • You must abide by the laws and regulations of the security as to what food not to import. If in doubt, you shall contact the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources for information.

 

  • You must ensure that you adhere to the packing guidelines of the security. Teereny Global will not be responsible for any disposed or ceased food items.

 

  • You must ensure that your food is well processed and packed to endure the transit time and handling process. You must ensure that your packing is fit for purpose. Teereny Global will not be responsible for any damaged or spoilt food items, either for commercial purpose or for private use.

  • You must ensure that your food items have a product description on them, they are well and commercially labelled and packed in a see-through package.

  • You must include the list of food items or packing list in your consignment for customs and
    quarantine purposes.

     

  • You must ensure that when a zip-lock plastic bag is used for your food items, the zip-lock bag must be in good condition.  Zip bags that are not in good condition shall not be accepted.

 

  • You will be responsible for any fees or charges as a result of disposed or ceased food items.

 

  • A quarantine/import processing fee up to $155.00 is applicable when your good(s) is/are labelled within the category of food and it is subjected to inspection.

 

  • In most cases, all food items coming from Africa require quarantine inspection. Inspections are carried out based on the availability of authorized officers. You shall accommodate an additional day or two for such inspection and we shall deliver as soon as the goods are cleared for entry.

CUSTOMS CLEARANCE

 

  • You must ensure that the total value of your goods must not be more than AUD$1000.
     

  • You must ensure that the goods described must not be alcohol or tobacco or prohibited items.
     

  • You must ensure that the importation of the goods must not violate any restrictions under Commonwealth law.

 

 

EXPORTATION

  • You agree that Teereny Logistics reserves the right to refuse you service if Teereny Global believes without evidence that your goods pose any form of danger to its staff or the environment.
     

  • There shall be no maximum limit (kg) as to what can be sent, however, a minimum weight of 20kg is required and you shall abide by it.

  • You must ensure that your goods are well packed and protected. If your goods are fragile or delicate or contain any fragile or delicate item(s), you must make all necessary effort to protect such items. Teereny Global will not be responsible for any damaged item whatsoever included in your consignment.
     

  • You must ensure that your goods get to our office or is picked up a day before the forwarding day. It is your responsibility to ensure enough time for the arrangement of your goods to be picked up or delivered to our office. Goods that are not in our possession a day before the forwarding dates shall not be catered for with the batch.

  • If you are sending from other states to Perth, you shall be responsible for any financial implication to get your package to Perth and it is your responsibility to ensure that your package gets to our custody in Perth.

  • If any dangerous goods are found in your package as per the dangerous goods checklist provided to you, your package will not be lifted, and you shall pay a fee of $200 to Teereny Logistics for any inconvenience caused. You agree to pay the fee.

  • A storage fee of $10 per day shall be applicable if your goods are not picked up after 2 (two) days that we have notified you that your package is ready for pickup in Lagos.

 

  • Should you choose a door to door service, you must ensure that your contact person for drop off is available and that the address is correct. Teereny Global will not be responsible for any miscommunication or wrong details. Should we return for a re-drop off for any reason whatsoever, a $30.00 fee shall be applicable.

 

PICK UP

  • You must pack your goods in a manner that is fit for air freight and ready to be picked up. You must ensure that your goods are ready for pick-up as per the agreed time. A delayed charge of $10.00 shall be applicable on a 15mins time interval basis.

 

  • You must ensure that your contact person for a pick-up is available and that the address is correct. Teereny Global will not be responsible for any miscommunication or wrong details. Should you request for a pick-up and if we must return for a re-pick for any reason whatsoever, a $30.00 fee shall be applicable.

 

  • If your goods are picked up by our staff from any location within Lagos metropolis, a pick-up charge of $30.00 shall be applicable.

 

  • If your goods are being transported to Lagos by a commercial vehicle, you shall ensure that a well-informed arrangement is made between the driver and our staff. A delayed charge shall be applicable on a 15mins time interval basis if your goods are not ready and available upon our arrival at the meeting place. You must ensure that your goods are packed in a manner that it is fit for air freight and you agree to abide by the actual weight ascribed by our staff in your absence.


For our customers outside Western Australia:

  • You shall liaise with our local partner for the pick up of your goods if you wish (charges apply).

 

  • For our Perth customers, a $20.00 fee is applicable for pick up. If we have to re-pick up in a case where there is no one available for the initial pick up, an additional $20.00 is applicable.

REMITTANCE SERVICE AGREEMENT

  • You agree that Teereny Global reserves the right to refuse you service if it is believed even without evidence that you intend to use our service in connection with any illegal activity including but not limited to money-laundering, fraud and the funding of terrorist organisations or that you are permitting a third party to do so. Teereny Global may report you to the appropriate legal authorities.

  • You agree that Teereny Global reserves the right to refuse you service if your identity or recipient's identity is unverifiable.

  • You agree that to use our service, you shall have the legal capacity to form a binding legal contract in any relevant jurisdiction, equivalent to be at least 18 years of age before you can use our service.

  • You agree to provide all evidence of identity that we may request, and you agree to provide true and valid information.

  • You agree to ensure that all other information required for the service to be rendered is provided.

  • In compliance with the relevant laws, we reserve the right to ask for further information or evidence relating to the purpose of service.

 

  • You agree to use our service to pay for tuition fees and to send money to people that you know personally for support through bank deposit only. Teereny Global may refuse to process your service request where we believe that you are using the service to purchase goods or services or where we believe that the service is being used by you or the recipient in furtherance of fraudulent, illegal or unethical activities.

  • You agree to ensure that all remittance details provided are correct. Teereny Global will not be responsible for any miscommunication or wrong details.

  • We will attempt to process and deliver all our services promptly, you agree that services may be delayed for several reasons including but not limited to: variation in business hours, our efforts to contact you, different local banks etc. In such cases, service will be transferred as soon as reasonably possible.

  • You agree that in a situation where remittance is transferred to a wrong detail/beneficiary, Teereny Global will endeavour to recover such a deposit if possible. You shall pay any charge incurable in the process and we may charge you a reasonable fee for our efforts to do so.

  • You agree that to the extent permitted by law, once we have deposited or transferred the fund into the nominated local bank account, you do not have the automatic right to revoke it.

  • You agree that in a situation where you must be refunded by the institution and you intend to use our service, you shall pay the service fee required. The exchange rate will or may differ from the initial because of the unpredictable nature of the market.  

  • You agree that you shall not use our service to deposit into a third person’s bank account. If you intend to do so, you must first inform Teereny Global of your intension and provide us with any additional information about the third person that we may request in order for us to decide whether to permit the request or not.

  •  You acknowledge that the information provided on our website is for guidance purpose only and should not be construed to be legal or to be any form of advice. We strongly recommend that you seek professional advice before deciding.

ERRAND SERVICE AGREEMENT

SERVICE DELIVERY

  • Teereny Global shall not be liable for any failure or delay in delivering service where such failure or delay is wholly or partly due to any cause or circumstance whatsoever outside the reasonable control of Teereny Global including but not limited to war, strikes, lockouts, industrial disputes or arrest, government restrictions or intervention, transport delays, fire, an act of God, breakdown of any mechanical equipment including any vehicles, shortage of supplies or labour, storm or tempest, theft, vandalism, riots, civil commotions or accidents of any kind.

  • The process and the mode of delivering the service shall be at the sole discretion of Teereny Global and the Customer hereby authorises Teereny Global to adopt any method(s) as appropriate other than any method which may have been instructed or agreed. The Customer authorises any deviation from the usual mode of service delivery if necessary.

  • Teereny Global shall endeavour to render or deliver service as specified by the Customer. However, if circumstances warrant that the service is rendered or delivered before or after the specified agreement, Teereny Global shall not be liable in tort.  

PICK UPS AND DELIVERIES

 

  • Teereny Global shall not be bound to pick up or deliver packages to locations not specified on the service request form except when authorised in writing by the Customer to receive the goods or to effect delivery in such other manner as specified by the Customer.

  • When a pickup or delivery is attempted but not successful due to an invalid address and contact phone number, the full service is charged.

  • If Teereny Global is unable to deliver the package for any reason beyond Teereny Global’s control (including wrong information from the Customer), Teereny Global shall notify the customer and handle or store the package at its discretion at the Customer’s risk and shall be entitled to make another delivery charge or any other reasonable charge in respect of such handling and/or storage and additional charges for each call until the delivery is accomplished.

INSURANCE

  • The insurance claims are capped at the amount for which the customer is insured. The customer shall be charged an excess of 2 percent of the insured value when the customer opts for insurance.  A 90 percent of the insured value shall be made payable to the customer for the insurance claim at the final settlement.

TRAVEL SERVICE AGREEMENT
